Morristown Medical Center Retains Status as Prestigious Magnet Hospital

Morristown Medical Center has achieved Magnet® recognition for a fourth consecutive time as a reflection of its nursing professionalism, teamwork and superiority in patient care. Deborah Zimmerman, RN, DNP, NEA-BC, chair of the Commission on Magnet Recognition, shared the news via conference call on Tuesday. The ANCC highlighted the strong support for Morristown’s nursing staff by physicians, participation and support from Atlantic Health System’s board of trustees and recognition and partnership between allied health care givers, the Atlantic Accountable Care Organization and the nursing staff.
