Code Red Releases iOS Application V2.0 - Highlights of the Application Include Support for the MobileIron™ Platform and Custom Fields and Templates
Boston, MA (PRWEB) June 23, 2014 -- The iOS app for iPad and iPhone adds MobileIron™ to our supported security vendors, delivering greater security to BYOD programs. Among the security enhancing features are access authorization, data protection for firms’ proprietary data, data leakage control, and application retirement. In the Apple® App Store, the iOS app will show as separate applications for the MobileIron™ and Good Technology™ platforms.
The app extends basic note taking to support richer use of custom fields and entry forms, as well as comments and collaboration on research and documents. Firms can configure entry templates capturing the essential material to best suit their investment processes on the desktop, web, and mobile app. For example, changing an investment’s price target might trigger a compliance process requiring the completion of ten additional fields.
Several ease of use features have been added, such as saving drafts from the editor and capturing images from the Apple® Camera app. With the upcoming OCR capabilities of Code Red RMS™, all images will be indexed for searching, including embedded images in attachments. Documents from iOS apps, such as Adobe™ and Apple® Mail, can now be imported. The update also adopts the iOS 7.0 user experience.

End users are not required to be connected to the firm’s server to use our iOS application.
