The evening out, taking place on June 29th at the Saban Theater in Beverly Hills, will begin with a VIP Reception and Dinner. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet military heroes and celebrities from film, sports and music. Ambassadors include Kevin Dobson, Jonathan Flora, Kate Linder, James McEachin, Lee Purcell, Karri Turner, Mark Valley and Jerry Mathers. Those attending can also try their luck at the Monte Carlo Night activities to win some fabulous prizes. The dinner is followed by the Opening Ceremony and Military/Veteran Tribute. The evening will be capped off by the Pointer Sisters in concert. Additionally, there are some great raffle prizes up for grabs, including a Kia Sorento, a 7 day Hawaiian vacation, and a 7 day Alaska cruise.
The proceeds from the benefit will be distributed to the Navy Seal Family Foundation, the GI Film Festival, the West L.A. Veterans Home Support Foundation, and the Jewish War Veterans.
Military Connection’s involvement in the concert came about when CEO Debbie Gregory was approached by organizer Allan Hoffman. Mr. Hoffman, a U.S. Navy veteran, is a member of the Jewish War Veterans, and also serves on the advisory board of the GI Film Festival. “Allan is a dedicated veteran whose efforts and energy inspire everyone around him,” said Ms. Gregory.
