Bristol Brewing Co. Releases Community Ale to Benefit Cheyenne Cañon
Colorado Springs, CO (PRWEB) June 20, 2014 -- Bristol Brewing Co., known in Colorado for exceptional microbrews, announces the return of Cheyenne Cañon Piñon Nut Brown Ale on June 19. One hundred percent of the proceeds from the sale of each pint and bottle of the award-winning community ale will be donated to The Friends of Cheyenne Cañon.
“We’re fortunate to have a natural masterpiece like Cheyenne Cañon in our very own backyard,” Said Mike Bristol, owner of Bristol Brewing Co. “It’s one of our city’s richest treasures. We hike and bike here a lot, so we want to make sure it’s around for many, many years to come.”
As a genuine “thank you” to Cheyenne Cañon for countless hours of peaceful reflection, true bliss and adrenaline rushes, the ale benefits the 1,320 acre regional park that encompasses the Starsmore Discovery Center, Helen Hunt Falls and miles of hiking and biking trails. Cheyenne Cañon Piñon Nut Brown has raised more than $100,000 - over the course of seven years - to help the volunteer organization preserve, protect and enhance the natural, scenic and historic resources of North Cheyenne Cañon Park.
From its subtle, nutty undertones to its prominent malt profile, this piñon nut brown ale is hearty, yet quite approachable. By combining roasted piñon nuts, a hint of Vanguard and Columbus hops, and a nice, round malt component, Bristol Brewing Co. combines a tasty triad of flavors for a smooth, roasty brown ale.
The beer is available on tap and in 22 oz. bomber bottles in the Bristol Pub, as well as in restaurants, bars, and liquor stores in Colorado Springs. For more information on Bristol Brewing Co. and its Community Ale series, visit http://www.bristolbrewing.com. Use #One4theCañon on social media.
