“We are incredibly pleased and humbled to be a part of this fundraising effort”, says Peter Duff, President and Chief Executive Officer at Adlib

Adlib, the leading vendor for enterprise document-to-PDF conversion software, announced today that it has raised over $38,000 for the seventh annual Enbridge Ride to Conquer Cancer – which in total raised $20 million this year. This is the second year Adlib has participated in this initiative.
“We are incredibly pleased and humbled to be a part of this fundraising effort,” says Peter Duff, President and Chief Executive Officer at Adlib – who is also an avid rider. “Cancer hits close to home for many of our employees and our community. This initiative really brings the company closer together as we spend months gearing up for this cause. The Princess Margaret Cancer Centre is doing incredible work and we felt we needed to contribute to their efforts.”
“Our employees, their families and friends – we’re all so proud to be able to support the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre,” says Kathryn Wash, Director of Human Resources at Adlib and an enthusiastic rider. “They are making efforts to conquer cancer in our lifetime a reality.”
To help the riders reach their donation goals, Adlib held fundraising events throughout the year leading up to the ride. Initiatives included a bake sale, a pancake breakfast, and many 50/50 draws. Adlib also held a comedy night at a local club, in addition to a very successful silent auction in Mississauga. All fundraising efforts were organized, run and supported by Adlib employees.
