Tranxition Enables Persona-based Applications

Portland, OR (PRWEB) June 24, 2014 -- Tranxition™ Corporation, today announced the release of User Persona API (UP). UP enables ISVs, web services (SaaS), and cloud companies to capture, store, and restore the “personas” of personal computers.

Kelly Mackin, founder and chief operating officer, says Tranxition has now opened up computer persona for a wider range of use cases beyond migration, including ITAM, ITSM, backup and other uses. “Enterprise software vendors can now deploy services that support disaster recovery, backup and restore as well as computer migration between and within systems. Until now, people could only retrieve their files. Now they can retrieve their personas as well. For ITAM and ITSM vendors, personas can now be managed as an asset associated with policy.”

Up “content” is regularly refreshed following new releases by supported vendors. More than 10,000 settings supported.

  • Microsoft Office including Office versions 2003, 2007, 2010, and 2013.    
  • Microsoft Visio and Project
  • Adobe Acrobat Reader, Acrobat, and Photoshop
  • Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, and Internet explorer
  • Intuit Quickbooks, and more

UP content subscriptions are a part of a license to both UP-API and Migrate7.
