iSchematic Now Offers a New Module Duplication Feature in Order to Accommodate Client Facilities with Repeating Equipment
Buffalo Grove, IL (PRWEB) June 24, 2014 -- IntelliSchematic has released a module duplication feature that is now available to current clients. The upgrade allows technicians to quickly apply the maintenance training and troubleshooting application, iSchematic, to unique machines of the same variety. Maintenance personnel can now easily track individual machine updates, improvements, and modifications separately. Enhancing iSchematic helps facilities troubleshoot equipment even faster by supplying them with exceptional machine-specific data.
Frequently, facilities have identical machines that inevitably require varying maintenance applications over time. Duplicating an iSchematic module eliminates the need to create an entirely new module for similar machines and, in-turn, is more cost effective for the client. It permits technicians to capture any inconsistencies that may occur over the machine’s lifetime in order to aid exact documentation efforts and maintenance training procedures.
“The ability to duplicate an iSchematic module makes it easier for technicians transfer knowledge from similar machines,” said Laura Owens, Production Manager, IntelliSchematic. “Workers can now apply analogous core information and easily document any differences that are necessary for troubleshooting the customized equipment.”
In order for an iSchematic module to be duplicated, the client must request that a project be cloned and one of IntelliSchematic’s production engineers will upload the new iSchematic copy to the correct client location. Once available, it can be accessed by the maintenance administrator so the application can be adjusted to account for the secondary differences that the specific machine requires. Maintenance technicians can now access and utilize the precise information needed to correctly troubleshoot their modified machinery.
