On June 27 the club will begin a greens renewal process that will offer members and guests completely new putting surfaces as part of a continued project to update The Heritage Club amenities.

For more than a decade novice and expert golfers alike have delighted in the beautiful challenge of the Heritage Club golf course. On June 27 the club will begin a greens renewal process that will offer members and guests completely new putting surfaces. This is part of a continued project to update The Heritage Club swim, tennis and golf amenities the community is renowned for offering.

The project, which is a no-till renovation, will replace the current greens with Champion Ultradwarf Bermuda. The process will leave the greens structure in place, thus preserving the contours. The process will begin on June 27 and is estimated to be completed by September 1.

This upgrade is an investment we know will improve the experience for our golf members and their guests.”

The renovations will be performed by Champion Turf Farms, who is applying this same greens renovation technique to the famed Pinehurst No. 2 course at the Pinehurst Resort. The Heritage Club golf course will be open for play on temporary greens during the renovations. During the process, golf members will have the ability to schedule tee times at more than 30 local courses by calling or visiting the Heritage Club Golf Shop.
