Waltham, MA (PRWEB) June 24, 2014 -- Verivo Software, the industry’s only open enterprise mobile application platform provider, today announced the appointment of Gregg Bjork as chief operating officer and Coco Jaenicke as chief marketing officer. Bjork and Jaenicke join Chief Technology Officer Arny Epstein on the leadership team, bringing more than 45 years of experience spearheading high-growth companies focused on enterprise infrastructure solutions.
Focused on large enterprises, Verivo is well positioned to meet the demands of the rapidly growing enterprise mobility market. As the demand for multiple complex enterprise apps grows, enterprise architects are shifting their focus from quick, isolated development projects to a long-term view of their mobile strategy and infrastructures that support not only development, but security and governance as well.
“The market for mobile application platforms (MAPs) has been a turbulent one, since IT has not adopted these tools as readily as other enterprise mobility management technologies,” said Chris Marsh, principal analyst at Yankee Group. “The key barrier for many was the need to use proprietary development environments, which significantly limit an enterprise’s ability to scale its mobile innovation. Now that this barrier is falling away, we see strong growth ahead for MAPs.”
In his new role, Gregg is responsible for the overall strategy and management of Verivo. He brings more than 25 years of experience partnering with large enterprises as they work through technology transitions such as client/server, web, SOA, and now enterprise mobility.
Prior to joining Verivo, Bjork was an independent advisor working with companies at all stages of development, helping launch new products and building companies for rapid growth and scale. Before that, he was president and CEO of Bradford Networks, where he rebuilt the organization while increasing revenue, and CEO of WebLayers, where he grew the start-up into a leading independent policy management company.
Coco has more than 20 years of experience marketing to large enterprises. She brings a focus on building high-performing marketing teams who engage the enterprise infrastructure market at all levels. She has played a pivotal role in launching successful go-to-market strategies that include product marketing, business development, lead generation, and industry leadership.
Prior to joining Verivo, Coco was vice president of marketing at Tokutek and held senior positions at integration software and data management software companies. She was instrumental in building marketing organizations for enterprise software companies such as FuseSource, SilverStream, and Object Design.
“I am very excited to work with enterprise-focused executives like Gregg and Coco,” said Arny Epstein, CTO of Verivo. “Their combined experiences in the enterprise infrastructure industry rival the experience we had at SilverStream, and make both a perfect fit to lead Verivo at a time when our enterprise business is expanding rapidly.”
