Ricky’s Lucky Nuts Hires New CEO and Retains National Broker Representation
Denver, CO (PRWEB) June 30, 2014 -- Ricky’s Lucky Nuts is thrilled to announce the hiring of its new Chief Executive Officer, Matthew Tezak. Mr. Tezak joined Ricky’s in March, initially coming on board as National Sales Manager. In just 3 months of intensive sales efforts and long-term growth planning with company owners, the team decided to move Tezak into the chief executive position.
“It was clear that Matthew brought more than exceptional CPG sales experience to the team. He brought considerable financial, operational and marketing knowledge that made him the obvious choice to take the helm;” states Ricky’s founder and President, Paul Gelose.
Tezak set a personal goal for himself several years ago to achieve a CEO position by age 40. He has bettered that goal by two years, accepting the CEO role with Ricky’s at age 38, quite an achievement for this industry.
Tezak has held several top sales positions with national food brands and brings over 20 years of industry experience. Tezak started his career as a teenager, working on reset teams and stocking shelves in Grand Junction, Colorado. Following college, he took a position with a national brokerage firm, functioning as Territory Manager and Marketing Analyst. From there, Tezak migrated to manufacture sales, holding several director level positions with multi-million dollar US brands. Tezak brings with him to Ricky’s excellent relationships with brokerage houses and buyers and has secured representation with several national brokers.
