Waltham, MA (PRWEB) June 23, 2014 -- PatientKeeper® ranked first in the “Charge Capture” and “Charge Master” categories in Black Book Rankings’ 2014 survey of Financial Software and Services for the healthcare industry. In total, 2,600 hospital CFOs, CIOs, business office managers, tech and financial staffers contributed their perceptions on Financial Systems Software and Services Solutions to Black Book between January and June 2014. Additionally, the business managers of 1,100 outpatient, alternative care, and physician practices owned by hospital systems also submitted ballots and evaluated separately. According to Black Book, 566 hospital and inpatient organizations were represented in the survey.
PatientKeeper Charge Capture software automates the billing process from within physicians’ existing workflow, allowing hospitals and practice groups to increase revenue with a more efficient and effective charge capture process. PatientKeeper was a pioneer in enabling physicians to use mobile devices for charge capture, and today offers its solution as a native app for popular smartphones and tablets; it also runs on PCs and laptop computers in a Web browser.
