M|A|Peterson Showcases Trends With Paris Trunk Show

M|A|Peterson, an award-winning design/build remodeling firm, launched its 2014 interior design trends during a Paris Trunk Show. M|A|Peterson is renowned for its innovative design and remodeling services, quality craftsmanship and interior design capabilities.
Over 90 architects, designers, and Twin Cities homeowners gathered at the M|A|Peterson Design Center in May of 2014 to experience the latest fashion during the Paris Trunk Show. While most residents know M|A|Peterson for their architecture and craftsmanship, the trunk show highlighted the trends in finishing rooms to create a distinctive décor.
In February of this year, Edina Interior Designers Lynn Woodruff and Shannon Allen attended the Maison Objet tradeshow in Paris. This once a year event brings together the most influential interior designers from across the globe to showcase the latest trend in fabrics, wallpapers, art, furnishings, interior colors, and textures. “We immediately knew we had to share this exciting experience with designers and homeowners in the Twin Cities,” add Woodruff and Allen. “That’s when the Paris Trunk Show event was born.”
“There were so many inspiring ideas that could be integrated into homes here in the Midwest. We wanted to capture the inspiration and showcase special items from the Maison Objet and other Parisian showrooms,” says Woodruff.
The evening event was filled with photos of architectural details along with dozens of fabrics, colors, patterns, textures and more. Woodruff and Allen also invited four local Interior designers to offer attendees private showings. Marcy Russ of Blended Blue, Christine Hartmann of Holly Hunt, Fritz Westphal of Scherping Westphal, and Laura Knutson of Donghia all showcased their latest designs and inspirations.
