Philadelphia HVAC Firm Burns Mechanical Empowers Its Field Technicians with Comprehensive Mobile Technology
Horsham, Pa. (PRWEB) June 24, 2014 -- Philadelphia-area HVAC construction, service, and energy services firm Burns Mechanical has empowered its field technicians with increased mobile technology via a wireless application called Mobile Technician. The application provides technicians with valuable real time access to information about the service call, the site, and individual equipment, along with a narrative history of the last five service calls.
The software is an extension of the COINS service management platform Burns uses, allowing for a seamless flow of information. The upgrade will result in less paperwork, increased efficiency, and even more accurate communications according to service division general manager Matt Rafferty.
“Our technicians will arrive prepared with all of the information they need right at their fingertips, including access to site safety information, equipment manuals, and service history,” Rafferty said. “And we’ll be able to easily provide our customers at the end of the year with important data that will save them money and provide insight for budgeting decisions, such as data that will reveal problematic equipment.”
