TRIC Tools Attended 39th Annual Roto Rooter Convention & Exposition in San Antonio, TX, May 21st Through May 23rd, 2014
Alameda, CA (PRWEB) June 25, 2014 -- May 21 through 23, 2014, TRIC Tools, attended the 39th Annual Roto Rooter Franchisee Convention & Exposition in San Antonio, TX. TRIC's Michael Lien, CFO, and Jay Battin, Sales Executive, were happy to see so many familiar franchisees. Roto Rooter helped start the lateral Pipe Bursting phenomenon 14 years ago when Concord Roto Rooter's Joe Bristol, introduced TRIC Tools to the Roto Rooter Franchise organization. TRIC was happy to be able to sponsor the event and give back for all the good relationships they've built with Roto Rooter.
Both Mr. Lien and Mr. Battin shared a tour of beautiful downtown San Antonio. Most memorable was the "speed" tour of the Alamo. "With all of the stops they wanted to get in we had 7 minutes at the Alamo," said Mr. Battin. He continued, "We talked about that stop for the rest of the week." In addition to the Alamo, the tour took in a couple of Missions. The final Mission, Conception Mission, really laid out the early San Antonio lifestyle at the Mission. Boudros restaurant (http://www.boudros.com/) provided a nice way to complete the tour and catch up with Roto Rooter.
On Wednesday, May 21st, the welcome reception was a relaxing way to break the ice with fellow vendors and Roto Rooter Franchisees. Some of the new faces met were Monte Yoder of Mission Viejo, CA, Steve & Shay Ettlinger of Saint Augusting, FL and Cory Gonzalez of Albuquerque, NM. The following day, TRIC showcased its Pipe Bursting equipment and water tool replacement accessories. Larry Fitch of Roto Rooter Concord, who has been a user of TRIC's lateral and mainline equipment for 16 years, remarked, "We couldn't possibly count the money that we've made with TRIC's equipment."
Friday concluded with a Fun Run organized by Nick Woodhead, President of US Jetting. Nick and his daughter Sally matched donations for Kinetic Kids (http://www.kinetickidstx.com). The run was a bit stressful with the steep ascent into the woods. The one positive being that it was only 1.25 miles. Mike Zaffuto Roto Rooter of Greenville, SC came in 1st, Nick Woodhead 2nd and the tired author came in third :).
