Team Fastrax is based out of Middletown OH, and performs all across the US. This weekend, they can be seen at two separate Major League Soccer (MLS) matches. The Columbus Crew is facing FC Dallas at Crew Stadium in Columbus, OH. The team Fastrax performance will include a tandem skydive with NBC 4’s Matt Barns at 7:40pm, and will follow with an amazing aerial display, with their 1,100 sq. ft. American Flag. The match starts at 8pm and will be followed by a fireworks display.
Team Fastrax will also be performing at the San Jose Earthquakes game against LA Galaxy at Stanford Stadium in Stanford, CA. According to the Quakes website, the theme of the match is a celebration of the ’94 USA-Brazil match played at Stanford Stadium. At 7pm PST Team Fastrax will be performing their American Flag skydive with their 2,000 sq. ft. flag as well as two red, white, and blue streamers, and red smoke. John Hart, founder of Team Fastrax, will be jumping with an air-to-ground video system which will feed live video of the performance from exit to landing on the massive Stanford Stadium video screen.
Gene Newsom, co-owner of Start Skydiving, and founding member of Team Fastrax, said, “We are thrilled to be performing for two such amazing MLS teams. We are particularly excited about the live video feed, which will give the spectators a whole new view of our skydiving performance.
