The latest release of the M-Files enterprise information management (EIM) solution includes several new features, including the ability for users to easily annotate, redline and comment on Microsoft Word documents, Excel spreadsheets, PowerPoint presentations, Visio documents and PDFs. Multiple users can simultaneously annotate and redline the same file directly from the M-Files client interface without modifying the original file. Content owners have the flexibility to view everyone’s markups at once or see them individually.

  • Usability improvements to M-Files Web Access.
  • Compatibility with Citrix XenApp, which allows IT administrators to host the M-Files client application centrally on servers and allow users to use it remotely via the XenApp client.
  • Support for M-Files Server to work with AlwaysOn Availability Groups in SQL server, which improves high-availability and disaster recovery capabilities of the M-Files server service.
