Syracuse, New York (PRWEB) June 26, 2014 -- ProLiteracy, the largest adult literacy and basic education membership organization in the nation, recently released its Workplace Literacy Guide (http://www.proliteracy.org/members/workplace-literacy-guide) to help member organizations explore starting a workplace literacy program with a local business.
With the financial support from Pitney Bowes, ProLiteracy developed this guide for literacy organizations considering greater involvement in official workplace education programs. Users of the guide can learn about practices and procedures used in a variety of workplace literacy programs and how to adapt them to fit the needs of their community.
ProLiteracy also conducted national webinars to provide additional information and answer questions from the guide about starting a new workplace program.
For questions about the guide, contact Michele Diecuch, senior membership and program manager, at mdiecuch(at)proliteracy(dot)org.
