Casey’s General Stores to Present Donation to Hope For The Warriors
(PRWEB) June 25, 2014 -- Throughout the entire month of May, Casey’s General Stores (http://www.caseys.com) invited their customers to give back to military families through a “Dog Tag” Promotion. On Thursday, June 26, 2014 at 1 p.m., Casey’s General Stores Chairman and CEO, Bob Myers, will present a check to Hope For The Warriors® for more than $800,000. In addition, Casey’s General Stores and Hope For The Warriors® will recognize the staff from the store that contributed the most during the month of May. The presentation will take place at the Springfield #2, 4124 W. Chestnut Expressway, Springfield, MO.
Patrons of Casey’s General Stores were invited to support Hope For The Warriors® by purchasing a “Dog Tag” for $1.00. Casey’s General Stores displayed the “Dog Tags” throughout the store, providing their customers the opportunity to demonstrate their commitment and support for the sacrifices of our service members. Casey’s General Stores also added other creative and fun fundraising events throughout the month both company-wide and at individual locations.
This is the third year that Casey’s General Stores has supported Hope For The Warriors® throughout the month of May. More than $745K was donated to Hope For The Warriors® in the first two years.
