Throughout the entire month of May, Casey’s General Stores (http://www.caseys.com) invited their customers to give back to military families through a “Dog Tag” Promotion. On Thursday, June 26, 2014 at 1 p.m., Casey’s General Stores Chairman and CEO, Bob Myers, will present a check to Hope For The Warriors® for more than $800,000. In addition, Casey’s General Stores and Hope For The Warriors® will recognize the staff from the store that contributed the most during the month of May. The presentation will take place at the Springfield #2, 4124 W. Chestnut Expressway, Springfield, MO.

Patrons of Casey’s General Stores were invited to support Hope For The Warriors® by purchasing a “Dog Tag” for $1.00. Casey’s General Stores displayed the “Dog Tags” throughout the store, providing their customers the opportunity to demonstrate their commitment and support for the sacrifices of our service members. Casey’s General Stores also added other creative and fun fundraising events throughout the month both company-wide and at individual locations.

This is the third year that Casey’s General Stores has supported Hope For The Warriors® throughout the month of May. More than $745K was donated to Hope For The Warriors® in the first two years.

“Customers and employees of Casey’s General Stores continuously look forward to this promotion for Hope For The Warriors®, and their enthusiasm is inspiring,” said Bob Myers. “Our community of stores is honored to embrace those brave men and women by thanking them for their sacrifices.”

“Casey’s General Stores’ employees and customers have once again shown our military families how much they truly care,” Robin Kelleher, Hope For The Warriors® President said. “Hope For The Warriors® is so thankful for their dedication.
