Ambassador Education Solutions, experts in powering course materials management and delivery for higher education institutions, today announced that its Chief Operating Officer, Steven M. Blicht, has been invited to join the Board of Directors of the Imagine America Foundation (IAF), the preeminent scholarship provider and research-funding organization for the career education sector. Blicht will serve a three-year term alongside thought leaders from some of the industry's most well respected institutions and organizations.
"We are delighted to have Steven join our board, bringing new insight and a dedicated passion that will enable us to continue to expand educational opportunities for students and visibility for our sector," said Robert L. Martin, President and CEO of IAF. "Steven is well versed in both the challenges and achievements of our industry, and his direct work with career institutions is a tremendous asset to us as we look to grow our programs and help even more students on their path to academic success."
Ambassador has been a longtime supporter of IAF, partnering with the organization to raise awareness about the value of career education and donating to its scholarship program. For seven consecutive years, Ambassador has made significant contributions to IAF's LDRSHIP award, which helps military students pursue their higher education goals.
"IAF has made a tremendous impact on the lives of our country's students - an investment that will help shape and secure our future workforce," said Blicht. "I am honored to be a part of this innovative and proactive group, and appreciate the opportunity to give back to the sector by helping open even more doors for students to learn and achieve."
Over the years, Blicht has forged key relationships with influential academic leaders and worked directly with them to implement processes and technologies that streamline operations, save money and provide exceptional student experiences. As co-founder of Ambassador’s bookstore division, he has expanded its technology and service models to stay ahead of the ever-changing course materials needs of administrators, faculty and students. Previously, Blicht, a graduate of Hofstra Law School, practiced law at a prominent firm.
