CRGT’s Agile development and continuous integration Center of Excellence can enable DHS to address its complex challenges in a cost effective manner.
Reston, VA (PRWEB) July 01, 2014
CRGT Inc., a leading provider of full life-cycle IT services and an expert in managing complex IT systems for the Federal Government, received one of multiple contract awards under the Department of Homeland Security’s (DHS) Enterprise Acquisition Gateway for Leading Edge Solutions II (EAGLE II) Contract Vehicle, Functional Category (FC) 1 – Unrestricted Track. EAGLE II is a DHS Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract vehicle and provides a range of information technology (IT) support services for multiple DHS programs and component agencies. EAGLE II has a five-year base period with one two-year option period.
CRGT President Tom Ferrando said, “This award presents a significant opportunity for us to provide subject matter expertise in Agile development, mobility, enterprise infrastructure and operations, CyberSecurity, and cloud migration services to support DHS’ operational needs. CRGT’s Agile development and continuous integration Center of Excellence can enable DHS to address its complex challenges in a cost effective manner.”
The primary services being acquired under Functional Category 1 (FC1) are System Design, Development, Implementation and Integration; Software Design/Development, and Operations and Maintenance. The maximum cumulative dollar ceiling value of all contracts in this multiple award procurement is established at $22 Billion. CRGT as the prime contractor is supported by three core team members: Data Systems Analysts, Inc. (DSA); Earth Resources Technology (ERT); and Akimeka, LLC, a subsidiary of VSE Corporation. We have selected these partners for their past performance success and FC 1 expertise.
As part of its EAGLE II contract responsibilities, CRGT will propose and compete on Task Order opportunities associated with FC 1. CRGT has an established IDIQ Program Management Office created and designed to track and respond to IDIQ Task Order bid opportunities. It is especially focused on the DHS EAGLE II contract vehicle. CRGT IDIQ Program Management Office Director Kate Kastelic said, “We are enthusiastic about the opportunity to support the DHS mission through the task order process. We look forward to offering our solutions to benefit DHS and its constituents.”
