Brownells releases videos showing how to get started in bowfishing.

It’s always our goal to offer a large breadth of products, but to be sure people understand what they are and how to use them.

Brownells, now one of the largest online archery retailers, has launched a two-part, professionally-produced bowfishing video series covering the basics of this fun, fast-growing segment of archery.

Part one of the series discusses getting started in bowfishing, covering topics like what bows and reels to use, the arrows and other accessories needed, plus how to mount the equipment to bows.

Part two shares tactical tips and tricks for fishing with a bow once on the water. These tips range from when to fish, what fish to shoot and best aiming practices.

The series complements the nearly 150 bowfishing-specific products in Brownells' expansive archery product line, which boasts bows, crossbows, reels, arrows, points and ready-to-fish kits from AMS, Canjun, Fin-Finder, Muzzy and more.

“Bowfishing’s popularity is on the rise from coast to coast,” said Brownells President/COO Matt Buckingham. “Brownells selection of bowfishing products is among the best you’ll find. It’s always our goal to offer a large breadth of products, but to be sure people understand what they are and how to use them. For us, offering great information goes hand in hand with offering great products.”

Brownells content library features nearly 1,200 videos covering nearly all things shooting sports. Additional archery-related videos are currently in production.
