Lawrence, Kansas (PRWEB) June 26, 2014
As part of its ongoing sponsorship of NAHAM (National Association of Healthcare Access Management) chapters throughout the US, The Midland Group sponsored at the 2014 ALAHAM (Alabama Association of Healthcare Access Management), Summer Conference. The Midland Group kicked off the conference with its popular Midland Mojitos at Wednesday’s evening's meet and greet.
The conference’s theme was Catch the Wave of Knowledge in Healthcare—alluding to its location in Orange Beach, Ala. The week’s sessions focused on changes in the industry, including speakers from Baptist Health System, Children's Health System and Cigna-Healthspring. Nick Schmidt, Senior Client Development Representative for The Midland Group, represented the company at the conference, answering questions related to the company’s services and how they solve the challenges facing hospital patient access professionals.
The Midland Group’s sponsorship of ALAHAM is part of its mission to improve access to healthcare services while protecting the financial health of hospitals. The display exhibit provided ample opportunity for Midland to share information with attendees about its upfront and post discharge patient financial counseling and Medicaid eligibility services.
