“We agree with and support the Supreme Court’s decision today, which validates our business model of working with the content providers and compensates content creators for their work." - Kamal Bherwani, Chairman, Magine TV

Magine TV, the innovative cloud-based TV operator, heralded today’s Supreme Court of the United States (SCOTUS) decision in the case of American Broadcasters v. Aereo (No. Case 13-461), saying it will help define how broadcasters and technology companies will work together to bring innovative products to market that will create fundamental changes in consumption of content.

“We agree with and support the Supreme Court’s decision today, which validates our business model of working with the content providers and compensates content creators for their work,” said Kamal Bherwani, Chairman of Magine TV. “We know that the way people are watching TV is changing, and Magine is at the leading edge of that revolution. By working with broadcasters and premium content providers, we have provided a dynamic service to viewers across Germany, Sweden and Spain. We are advancing that philosophy as we build new relationships and open in new markets around the world.”

Magine TV works with broadcasters and premium content providers to provide free to air TV over the internet and deliver live, time shifting and catch-up viewing to computers, mobile devices and smart TVs.
