NVTC Names Kit Check the Hottest Startup in the Washington, DC Region
Ashburn, VA (PRWEB) June 26, 2014 -- The Northern Virginia Technology Council (NVTC) Tuesday named Kit Check as the Washington, DC region’s Hottest Startup. Since 2010, NVTC has presented its “Hot Ticket” awards to area startups in categories ranging from “Hottest VC Deal” and “Hottest Exit” to “Hottest Startup.” NVTC President Bobbie Kilberg presented the award to Kit Check Co-founders Kevin MacDonald and Tim Kress-Spatz during the Hot Ticket Awards event held at Redskins Park in Ashburn, Virginia on Tuesday night.

About Hospital Pharmacy Kits
Pharmacy kits are used throughout hospitals for critical care procedures including operating room anesthesia, crash carts, pediatric emergency, labor and delivery, and many others. The kits contain up to 200 medications each. Kit Check’s solution eliminates a decades-old, manual process of hospital pharmacy kit replenishment and expiration verification.
After a hospital pharmacy kit is used for patient care by medical staff, it is returned to the pharmacy so that consumed medications may be replaced.
