Spec-Rite Designs, a global distributor, manufacturer, and designer of phenolic furnishings, will supply more than 500 custom phenolic lockers to Aramark’s new Business Services Center in Nashville, Tenn. Aramark is investing $20 million in the new building, which is estimated to provide more than 1,000 new jobs to Davidson County over the next 3 years.
“Working with Aramark on this project is a very exciting opportunity,” said Steve Kistner, general manager of Spec-Rite Designs. “It’s great to work with a respected company and showcase our ability to provide quality products that exceed customer expectations. We’re dedicated to completing the job safely, on time, and on budget.”
By shipping out a portion of the lockers for the project early, Spec-Rite Designs was able to provide for the immediate needs of the 200 employees currently occupying the facility. The lockers installed in the facility are fabricated with solid phenolic panels, making them impact, scratch, graffiti, and water resistant, as well as being guaranteed to never warp or delaminate. The lockers, like all Spec-Rite Designs products, are GREENGUARD certified.
Aramark, a provider of food, facility, and uniform services for businesses, schools, hospitals, and other institutions, is opening its new Business Services Center to consolidate financial and human resources for the company’s North American operations. The company, with 270,000 employees worldwide, was ranked among Fortune Magazine’s “World’s Most Admired Companies” in 2013.
