Certified Gold Exchange Applauds AZ Attorney for RICO Suit Against Alleged Gold Fraudster
FORT WORTH (PRWEB) June 26, 2014 -- Just days after Ray Stern of the Phoenix New Times reported on the RICO suit being filed by the Maricopa County (AZ) Attorney’s Office, the official Certified Gold Exchange has gone on record to applaud Maricopa County Attorney Bill Montgomery for “giving potential criminals something to think twice about" in regards to taking advantage of gold investors. The RICO suit's case number is CR-0162706 and is being handled by the Superior Court of Maricopa County. Montgomery believes the suspect in the case has allegedly taken more than $54 million from over 1,300 victims, and a special web page has been created for individuals who may have been victimized by the same person. “"[The suspect] has finally run out of tricks," Montgomery said about the alleged criminal.
Maricopa County’s RICO suit alleges that the suspect allegedly has a “hidden cache of precious metals and coins believed to have been stolen from NACC [for] expensive cars, jewelry, and travel” while at the same time allegedly using a company, Mango Trust, to hide money that would have otherwise gone to victims. “The best way to protect oneself from shady characters is by dealing exclusively with BBB and TrustLink-approved gold dealers,” added Jones.
