Abbott Organics, the Sacramento organic farm recently featured in Saveur Magazine, will partner with distributer Produce Express to showcase its array of organic produce and gourmet infused salts at this year’s Produce Express Farmers’ Market. The annual event brings the owners of some of California’s finest organic farms to one venue, and offers local restaurant owners and buyers the opportunity to sample sustainably harvested produce and goods.
Featuring over 40 local growers that will collaborate with 15 well-known local chefs, the annual farm-to-table event offers a chance for Produce Express’s 1,300 restaurant customers to sample recipes made with locally farmed produce. The owners of Abbott Organics will be on-hand, offering samples of the farm’s organic tomatoes, garlic, and gourmet garlic-infused salt, and will also provide cups of delicious gazpacho created with those ingredients. Visitors to the Abbott Organics booth will take home the recipe of the refreshing, healthy treat, and also receive 1oz bags of Abbott Organics infused salt.
