Greenberg Traurig Tampa Adds Nicholas J. Secco as Litigation Shareholder
Tampa, FL (PRWEB) July 02, 2014 -- Nicholas J. Secco has joined the Tampa office of the international law firm, Greenberg Traurig, as a Shareholder in its Litigation Practice Group. Secco focuses his practice on product liability, mass tort, toxic tort, environmental, class action, and complex commercial disputes.
Secco has served as a key member of trial teams in cases of national significance, including a four-month jury trial in City of St. Louis v. American Tobacco Co., et al., (4:98CV02087 ERW) which was hailed by the National Law Journal as “the largest defense victory in a tobacco cost-recovery suit to date.”

Secco also has broad experience in the petrochemical sector, including orchestrating multimillion-dollar lost profit claims for a transnational chemical company and formulating overall litigation strategy in cross-border litigation pertaining to multibillion-dollar ethylene manufacturing facilities.

Prior to joining Greenberg Traurig, Secco was a partner in the Chicago office of an international, multidisciplinary law firm.
Secco received his law degree, cum laude, in 2001 from Northwestern University School of Law, where he served as the Senior Editor of Northwestern University Journal of International Law & Business and was elected to the Order of the Coif. He received his bachelor’s degree in 1998 from Louisiana State University.
