Two senior Gensler designers recently transferred to the firm’s Houston and Austin offices. Raffael Scasserra comes to Houston from the firm’s Washington, DC office and Armando Iarussi hails from Gensler’s London office. Raffael is a firm principal with experience in a variety of building types. Armando is a design director who specializes in the design of corporate, hospitality and workplace interiors. “We are so pleased to have Raffael and Armando join us,” said Gensler Regional Managing Principal David Calkins. “Their many years with Gensler, global perspectives and outstanding talent will be a huge plus for our region and for our clients.” “It is not unusual for people to transfer from office to office within Gensler,” added Gensler Regional Managing Principal Judy Pesek. “We work together seamlessly across the firm on projects all over the world. We call it our one-firm-firm culture.” Gensler is a global design firm grounded in the belief that great design optimizes business performance and human potential.
