Louisville, KY (PRWEB) June 27, 2014
Deyta, LLC announced today the launch of new Avoidable Events Actionboards for helping hospices capture, measure and monitor data on potentially avoidable events. Gaining deeper insights to potentially avoidable events allows hospices to identify staff training opportunities and institute new policies and procedures to improve quality of care and ensure a positive patient experience. Such performance improvement is integral to a comprehensive QAPI program.
Deyta’s Avoidable Events Actionboards solution is the next generation of the Quality Navigator product, originally designed for paper-based agencies needing a solution for the Quality Assessment Performance Improvement (QAPI) Condition of Participation. Designed by the same team of hospice quality experts, Avoidable Events Actionboards provide hospices with a robust web-based system that provides flexible, ease of use on computers, tablets, and smart-phones for clinical quality measurement and management. Hospices will gain in-depth reporting insights to their performance on industry-vetted potentially avoidable events measures. Benchmarking analysis will help hospices find relevancy in their data by showing how their scores compare to hospices across the country to more easily pinpoint improvement opportunities.
“We are excited to release our new Avoidable Events Actionboards alongside of our new Quality Actionboards that will help hospices with the upcoming Hospice Item Set requirement,” said Kevin Porter, President and CEO of Deyta. “Deyta’s Avoidable Events Actionboards include more flexible data capture and more robust reporting than the previous Quality Navigator. Combined with Quality Actionboards, it equips hospices with a comprehensive QAPI system for improving care delivery.”
Deyta will host a live demonstration of its Quality & Avoidable Events Actionboards on July 16. This demonstration will include highlights of Avoidable Events Actionboards. Hospices looking for ways to improve their performance on avoidable events and the newly required NQF measures are encouraged to attend.
