New 504-Bed Student Housing Community Planned for Texas A&M Kingsville
Kingsville, Texas (PRWEB) June 27, 2014 -- A new luxury, off-campus student housing community is coming to Texas A&M Kingsville in August 2015. Domus Development, a veteran student housing development company based in Dallas, recently broke ground and is beginning construction this month on Legends Kingsville, which will bring 504 beds to the market.
Located adjacent to the Texas A&M Kingsville campus, Legends Kingsville will provide students with a wide range of amenities to create an ideal community for residents to live, study and play. Amenities include a resort-style pool, sand volleyball court, a gazebo and multiple grills, a fitness club, an elegant clubhouse with a game room, a computer lounge and more.
Residents will be able to choose from a variety of spacious floor plans including one, two and four-bedroom options. The individual apartments will come fully furnished with modern appliances, granite countertops, hardwood style flooring, ceiling fans, full-size washer and dryer and more. Residents will be able to sign individual leases, meaning they are only responsible for the rent of their individual bed, not the rent of the entire apartment. The entire property is also equipped with high-speed Wi-Fi, and will employ an on-site maintenance and management staff.
“Kingsville has such a rich significance in Texas history with the King Ranch and Naval Air Station Kingsville,” said Eric Jakimier, owner of Domus Development and student housing industry veteran. “We look forward to continuing the tradition of blending modernity and history by giving residents a new, contemporary living environment that reflects the natural beauty of Kingsville. This community will truly be one-of-a-kind for the area.”
Domus Development has hired Asset Campus Housing (ACH), the largest management and privately held student housing company in the U.S., to manage the community. This is the fourth project that Domus Development has brought ACH in to manage and lease up. Most recently, ACH successfully completed an early lease-up at Mustang Ranch, a student housing community developed by Domus in Stephensville, Texas, achieving 100 percent by the first week of April 2014.
“We are very excited to once again partner with Domus Development to manage the successful lease-up of Legends Kingsville,” said Joe Goodwin, senior vice president of marketing for Asset Campus Housing. “This will be a unique community, tailored to fit modern students’ needs by providing them with a fun atmosphere as well as an environment that fosters success.”
The first phase of Legends at Kingsville will open for students in August 2015. For more information, please visit http://www.LegendsAtKingsville.com.
