El Seibo, Dominican Republic (PRWEB) June 27, 2014 -- On May 24th 2014, the Dominican General Contractor, Ricardo Jacobo, made a generous donation of 100,000 Dominican pesos to the Un Paso Por La Vida Foundation as part of the Teleradio Marathon, One Million or More, organized with the purpose of benefiting people diagnosed with cancer.
"Cancer is a disease that we all are exposed to. To fight it is extremely expensive and unfortunately many people cannot receive the necessary treatment due to the lack of resources. I am grateful to be able to contribute to this important cause and to, somehow, ease the difficulties of some Dominican families affected by this disease," says Ricardo Jacobo.

The foundation Un Paso Por la Vida was established in 2011 by Father Antonio Villavicencio Martinez’s initiative. His objective was to create a committee to help underprivileged people diagnosed with cancer in the city of El Seibo.
