Hoyos Labs, a digital infrastructure security company focused on making users’ online lives more convenient by eradicating the need for usernames and passwords, has selected content advertising agency Story Worldwide to handle creative duties and lead the launch of a new app, to debut in September. The 1U app will simplify life online by leveraging users’ faces and biometrics, in conjunction with their smartphones, to eliminate all passwords while providing a more secure digital ecosystem.
The 1U app uses a complex algorithm to recognize what is unique about each living human face and grants acess to password-protected websites, accounts, doors, vehicles and systems in an instant. It only works for the authorized user and cannot be fooled by a photo, a video or a twin.
Hoyos Labs developed its new app to eliminate the virtually impossible challenge of remembering dozens of unique, ever-more-complicated and increasingly less memorable passwords, providing its users with security and convenience.

Story used its proprietary narrative branding process to name the 1U app and develop the strategic narrative platform that identifies the application’s core differentiators – convenience and security – and sets the foundation for all marketing—traditional ads, banners, branded film content, social programming and more.
Hoyos’ innovative software combines iris, facial and periocular identification with an algorithm that detects whether the face being tracked is a living person (“liveness factor”). The app also incorporates third-party biometrics solutions. The unique combination of these security features make the app easy to use and extremely effective.
In addition to defining the narrative platform, establishing the brand identity and developing the marketing campaign, Story will be partnering with SwellShark, the New York media agency, to plan and buy all paid-media.
