Chef Todd English Will Set Sail on the Queen Mary 2 for Independence Day Celebration Voyage

The Cunard Line flagship will welcome English aboard the New York to Boston voyage where the renowned chef will be crafting a new menu and greeting guests.

Chef Todd English will join guests and crew aboard Cunard Line’s Queen Mary 2 on Tuesday, July 1, 2014 for the 10-year-old-ship’s Independence Day Celebration voyage from New York to Boston.

English will be working with the luxury liner’s culinary crew in developing a new menu that will debut this summer. While on board, the world-famous chef—whose namesake restaurant makes its home on the majestic vessel—will also be participating in a Q & A session with the ship’s Entertainment Director and signing copies of his best-selling cookbook, Cooking in Everyday English, The ABCs of Great Flavor at Home.

“Coming on board the Queen Mary 2 is something I always look forward to”, says English. “This ship is so magnificent, and it’s been such a wonderful experience working with everyone here over the last ten years. This is going to be an unforgettable voyage and I’m extremely excited about the new menu we are creating. It’s going to be a great celebration.”

The Queen Mary 2 is currently celebrating its 10 Year Anniversary and has undertaken more than 420 voyages, including over 200 Transatlantic Crossings since launching in 2004. The sumptuously decorated Todd English Restaurant is one of the ship’s four upscale dining options and features English’s signature Mediterranean cuisine including flatbreads, fresh seafood and pasta, and a decadent array of desserts.
