Attorneys in Texas are required to comply with the Texas Disciplinary Rules of Professional Conduct and the Texas Rules of Disciplinary Procedure, according to the Texas Bar’s website. Lawyers who are accused of acting unethically and violating the rules must undergo the grievance process.
