Ceremonies were held recently in France to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the battle of Normandy. At one such event friendship flag pins, donated by PinMart were worn. They display the American flag crossed with the French flag, signifying the unity and fellowship between the two countries.

Patricia Robert was in contact with PinMart before the event to take the pins to France with her, and she shared her enthusiasm for the donation: "[The pins will] be a wonderful gift to the people of France who come out to honor the veterans." Among the veterans attending the event was Patricia's father, Morley, who spoke at the event.

"[We] and the Norman people have a bond - a bond of loyalty, admiration, affection and honor that will endure," Morley said during his speech. Those in attendance were given the friendship flag pins as a visual reminder of that bond that has been maintained for 70 years.
