Linda Detore, President of the Freehold, New Jersey chapter of LeTip, was recently named National LeTip Member of the year. She was selected out of more than 8000 members.

You can be the best in your profession, but without the right connections, no one will ever know you exist.

LeTip is a professional organization made up of members held to the highest caliber of professionalism, striving to do business with one another. It’s no wonder that Detore’s leadership and community involvement led to her earning this prestigious award.

Detore is the owner of a home inspection company in Manalapan, NJ, and strives to make connections, help others succeed, and believes in leading by example. She is committed to respect, commitment, accountability, and bringing out the best in people.

Detore says “LeTip is where small businesses go to grow,” with participation being “essential to your success.” Because Detore believes small businesses are the backbone of America, she is dedicated to helping people network and interact with each other, considering this communication and support to be key to success.

“It's not just what you know, it's who you know that counts,” she says. “You can be the best in your profession, but without the right connections, no one will ever know you exist. You never know who you will meet that can have a positive impact on your business.”

Detore’s LeTip chapter is also heavily invested in their community, donating food and money to the local Samaritan center, conducting a community blood drive, and establishing a scholarship fund for local high school graduates. “If I’m going to be a part of something, I want to make a difference,” she states.

The professional integrity ingrained in Detore is reflected in her leadership. “I lead by example. I am a devoted member dedicated to making our businesses succeed. It is our goal to be the best networking group, not necessarily the biggest. We owe it to ourselves to share certain values, loyalty, and integrity to ensure the standards of our practice. Always be prepared, organized, and supportive of your fellow members. I am very fortunate to be a part of a group with so much diversity and so many opportunities to learn.”

And LeTip is very fortunate to have such an outstanding leader and involved community member.
