ZwillGen has announced that Amy Mushahwar, formerly counsel at Ballard Spahr, will join ZwillGen’s Washington, D.C. office, bringing 15 years of experience on both the engineering and legal sides of technology.
Amy will add to ZwillGen’s information security and e-commerce practice by assisting clients on compliance with state and federal information security and cybersecurity laws, PCI DSS requirements, and financial and health privacy laws.

At ZwillGen, Amy will continue conducting online and offline privacy assessments, counseling clients on the development of integrated digital platforms, cloud computing, virtualized platforms, database APIs, and mobile technology. She will also advise on state, federal, and international privacy requirements and data protection laws.
Prior to entering the legal world, Amy operated and owned a technology consulting company where she performed network security design and implementation. Amy is a magna cum laude graduate from Catholic University of America Columbus School of Law.
