Schafer Corporation Awarded Task Order To Support DARPA Information Innovation Office
Arlington, Va. (PRWEB) June 30, 2014 -- Schafer, leading provider of scientific, engineering and technical services and products in the national security sector, is pleased to announce its Government Services Sector has been awarded a 3-year, 70+ person task order to provide Scientific, Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) to support the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) Information Innovation Office (I2O). The company has been working with DARPA for 26 years, and the task order is under its Seaport-e prime contract by the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command.

I2O explores game-changing technologies in the fields of information science and software to anticipate and create rapid shifts in the complex national security landscape.
