Gustavson indicated that many nurses and caregivers many need to drive to their clients or even chauffeur their clients to doctor’s appointments. He noted that in these cases it becomes necessary to include Motor Vehicle Driving Records Searches, or MVRS, as part of the screening package.

“The Office of Inspector General just issued mandates where some healthcare facilities have to monitor their employees on a monthly basis for healthcare sanctions background checks and disciplinary actions,” said Gustavson. “Corra Group now offers two monthly monitoring programs.
