Targeting Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore, FaveChic makes shopping affordable by brining global marketplaces locally while redefining the meaning of online shopping.

FaveChic, a social shopping platform that reinvents the shopping experience, has been officially launched.

Online stores are continuously sprouting up across the globe, each offering similar products at different prices. FaveChic aggregates the deals from marketplaces across the globe. As prices are displayed in the local currency and includes shipping fees, FaveChic unifies and simplifies the shopping experience.

“Our single price includes shipping and through the economies of scale from shipment consolidation, you will find FaveChic affordable compared to buying directly from many foreign marketplaces,” said John Wong, founder of FaveChic.

Leveraging on the prominence of social networks, FaveChic is integrated with Facebook. This integration not only allows purchases or items of interest to be shared among friends but it also allows them to ‘shop together’.

“Online shopping is a solitary experience but FaveChic makes it a social one, enabling simultaneous product viewing in real-time with friends to gather views and opinions before committing to a purchase,” Wong added.

FaveChic has more than 30,000 products listed and while the current focus is on fashion, there are plans for extending its catalogue. Since its soft launch in April, it has served over 2,000 shoppers with many purchasing over to 10 items in a single order.

FaveChic is now available for download on smart devices powered by iOS and Android. FaveChic can also be accessed on modern web browsers at http://favechic.com.
