DRM is one of the best technologies to categorize authorized insiders so that the appropriate level of access control can be set on an organization’s intellectual property and other sensitive information.
East Brunswick, New Jersey (PRWEB) June 30, 2014
Fasoo, Inc., the leader in Data and Software Security, today announced they had a very successful week at the Gartner Security & Risk Management Summit 2014 (June 23- 26) held at the Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center in National Harbor, Maryland.
Fasoo presented data security strategies and solutions on how to prevent data loss from insider threats. Many US and international organizations are focusing their efforts on stopping the loss of intellectual property from trusted insiders. Fasoo offered solutions to mitigate the risk of threats which can emerge from employees, partners and others having authorized access to highly confidential information.
During the summit, Fasoo presented ‘Defending the Enterprise Against Trusted Insiders’ at a solution provider session on June 25, 2014. Bill Blake, Fasoo USA President, and Ron Arden, Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer, spoke about the types of insider threats to an organization’s most critical information and how Fasoo Enterprise Digital Rights Management (EDRM) helps prevent them through continuous encryption, dynamic permission control and an activity audit trail throughout the entire document lifecycle. Over 200 people attended the session and many of them visited Fasoo’s booth to learn more and view demonstrations on Fasoo EDRM solutions. This was a large turnout compared to many other sessions.
“DRM is one of the best technologies to categorize authorized insiders so that the appropriate level of access control can be set on an organization’s intellectual property and other sensitive information.” said Bill Blake, President of Fasoo USA. “Because of the increase of data breaches caused by insiders, we have received a large increase in the interest of Fasoo’s EDRM solutions and look forward to making an impact in the North American market.”
Meanwhile, Fasoo would also like to announce that Fasoo USA has moved their headquarters from Sunnyvale, California, where they have been located since 2012, to East Brunswick, New Jersey. In addition, Fasoo USA recently named Dr. TJ Kwon as its Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and Vice President.
