Leesburg Concrete Meets Customer’s Challenge Using an Easi-Set Precast Concrete Building
Midland, VA (PRWEB) July 01, 2014 -- (OTCQB: SMID) The St. Petersburg Water Treatment and Distribution System needed to install a new water pump station, but their location (in a flood plain) posed specific challenges. The project required a unique solution to move forward. Brian Stock, Sales Representative at Leesburg Concrete, recommended Easi-Set Buildings to the general contractor. “I suggested that we raise the pump station building above flood stage,” said Stock.
Elevating the building on a poured platform allowed Leesburg Concrete to also utilize one of their core product lines, precast steps. “We are supplying precast steps that extend a full 8 feet to a poured-in-place platform which will support the building, railing system, and large Onan gas fired generator,” remarked Stock. The final building will seamlessly fit in with the current aesthetics at the facility. “We will be casting a custom Easi-Set Building with real red barrel roof tiles applied over a precast gabled roof, fancy round front window, and clapboard sides.”
