Wheelchair Accessible Transit, Inc., Offers Discounts on Rides All Over Southern Ontario
Toronto, ON (PRWEB) June 30, 2014 -- These services are available daily with reservations, plus a number of services run to specific locations throughout the day. While there are other companies that offer transportation for those in need, Wheelchair Accessible Transit is one of the few to offer regular discounts on a monthly basis.
Wheelchair Accessible Transit offers a number of different discounts every month to specific locations. During the month of June, these discounts are 15 percent off round trips to locations such as Casino Niagara and Casino Rama. In addition to the discounted trips to the two casinos, June’s discounts also include round trip travel to Windsor, Kingston, and Barrie. Some conditions do apply to these discounts, but they are usually open to anyone with special needs and include transportation from the individual’s home to the location and back. Often, these discount trips are done using a van or bus rather than a small cab because there are a number of people who have booked the trips.
Wheelchair Transit, Inc usually offers six or more discounted trips each month. To book one of these trips, customers can visit the company’s website or call their toll-free number. The discount is automatically applied to their faire when they complete the reservation. Customers will need to have registered with Wheel Transit before or will need to create a new account at the time of booking the trip. All trips, including personal trips and non-discounted trips, should be booked at least 24 hours in advanced to guarantee availability and pick up times. Those that are booked on the same day may not be able to get their desired pick up or drop off time.
In addition to these special discounts, customers can also book trips at hourly rates to anywhere in the Greater Toronto Area and other destinations across Ontario. Those who book as part of a group may be able to take advantage of group discounts as well. Fares are billed monthly, so customers do not need to pay at the time of transport.
Customers with special needs are encouraged to regularly check the Wheelchair Accessible Transit website to view the current discounts or to book travel. In addition to accommodating those with special needs and wheelchairs, many of the vehicles operated by Wheelchair Accessible Transit can also carry a limited number of other passengers such as family members and friends. All drivers are professionals with many hours of driving time and have been trained in assisting those with special needs. Vehicles are regularly maintained and upgraded as necessary.
