Chief organizer and FFHL board member, Susan Stanzel has been hard at work planning the upcoming dinner to raise funds in support of the mission of the FFHL. According to the Foundation website, the mission of the Franciscan Foundation for the Holy Land is to preserve the Christian presence in the Holy Land.

His role is to oversee all of the work of the Franciscans on behalf of Christians throughout the Middle East. Fr. Pizzaballa was slated to attend the dinner but had to cancel due to other travel requirements, according to Mrs. Stanzel.

Peter Vakso.
“She has been a selfless supporter from the beginning,” he said. “We owe her a lot.”
