East Coast Chair & Barstool launches its newest online store with its latest product line titled the Outer Banks Collection, which local Amish craftsmen make out of poly lumber. As the drive for made-in-America products urges on, the Adirondack chairs, porch rockers, tables, dining chairs, and bar stools in this collection not only offer patriotic pride, but also add personality to any outdoor seating area.
“Our customers have really let us know that they prefer American-made furniture through their dollar,” explains Office Manager Beth Willison. “Because we are located near a wonderful community of talented, Amish craftsmen, we can recruit a skilled workforce to produce quality furniture. By introducing an in-house production line and sourcing from local Amish workshops, we have been able to grow our sales overall while keeping our customers happy.”
The poly lumber (or polywood) material is produced in the state of Indiana, and is then sent to the East Coast Chair & Barstool warehouse in Mercer, PA where the local Amish craftsmen build and assemble our furniture orders in the Outer Banks Collection. They meticulously ensure the quality of each Adirondack chair before boxing it up and sending it out.
“We believe in delivering excellent quality to each of our customers, and our team of Amish craftsmen truly value their work and produce amazing furniture,” explains Willison. “Their attention to detail ensures every customer is happy with the final table or chair they receive.”
