According to the Global M&A Network website, the Turnaround Atlas Awards exclusively honor top performances from the distressed M&A, restructuring, reorganization and turnaround communities worldwide.
The firm received the following awards:
“Cross Border Special Situation M&A Deal of the Year” award for its role in the AgFeed Industries sale of assets to Ningbo Tech Bank, TriOak Foods and Smithfield/Murphy
“Media & Entertainment Turnaround of the Year” award for its role in the reorganization of FriendFinder Networks Inc.
“Consumer Goods Turnaround of the Year” award for the Orchard Supply Hardware Stores sale to Lowes
In addition, Keith J. Shapiro, co-chair of the Business Reorganization & Financial Restructuring practice, received the “Turnaround Leadership Award” and was named one of the “Top 100: Global Restructuring & Turnaround Dealmakers.” Selections are based on long-standing achievements, including advising on multi-jurisdictional and value-generating deals.
