MVP Systems Software, Inc., a leading provider of enterprise job scheduling and workload automation software, has released a series of predictive scheduling enhancements to JAMS Job Scheduler 6.1, the latest version of its flagship workload automation solution. JAMS provides a comprehensive set of features to view and manage the upcoming batch processing schedule for an enterprise. The Projected Schedule View dynamically generates a visualization of any set of batch jobs and plots them on a customizable calendar. The interface’s controls enable users to view jobs on any time frame, from a 15-minute window to a month of data.

JAMS employs a system of color codes to expose jobs with these potentially costly conditions. From the Projected Schedule View’s built-in controls, JAMS users can drill down into a job’s history to see how performance has changed over time or they can access a job’s properties to make rapid on-the-fly changes to accommodate new conditions.
