CDC Certified Divorce Coach® Announces a New Ready-To-Use Program for Coaching Your Clients in Avoiding the Six Biggest Mistakes in Divorce
Tampa, FL (PRWEB) June 30, 2014 -- The 5 Steps to Coaching the Overwhelm in Divorce and Avoiding the Six Biggest Mistakes is a Coaching Program offer by CDC College for Divorce Coaching® which takes the book Divorce: Overcome the Overwhelm and Avoid the Six Biggest Mistakes released in March, 2014 and builds on the client focused content to provide coaches the tools they need to guide their clients gracefully through the process.
Laura Scott, President of the International Coach Federation - Tampa Bay Chapter said this about the content: “Having been through a divorce and having coached others through their divorces, I appreciate the full examination of the common pitfalls. I also love how this book can function as an awareness tool, a how-to, and a workbook, all in one.”
The required training program for using the 5 Steps for Coaching the Overwhelm in Divorce and Avoiding the Six Biggest Mistakes in Divorce is being offered on Wednesday evenings from 8 – 9:30 pm from July 23rd to August 27th. It is a six week program which applies the 5 Steps© to each of the six “mindset” mistakes people often make in divorce. These mistakes lie at the root of most of the other financial, legal or decision mistakes in divorce; and they can be nipped in the bud with the help of a thinking partner such as a divorce coach.
This is the third such program related to Divorce Coaching which Pegotty and Randall R. Cooper have created as part of their contribution to changing the face of divorce and training professionals to help individual clients to make better decisions in divorce based on their specific values and needs. The other two include The Art & Science of Divorce Coaching offered through the Coach Training Alliance (CTA) and the CDC Certified Divorce Coach Program, a comprehensive 15 session course which offers 30 hours of Continuing Coach Education (CCE) approved by the International Coach Federation (ICF).
Randall R. Cooper, a Florida Supreme Court Certified Family Mediator since 2005, completed a coaching program in 2010. The light bulb went on for him mid-way through the program and in his words "I could see that the credentialed personal divorce coach was the missing professional in the divorce process”. The divorce coach is someone who works with their clients in a specific way that is not the core competency for other divorce professionals.
An educational webinar is offered on a complimentary basis to the first 25 people as an introduction to Overcoming the Overwhelm of Divorce on Wednesday, June 2 and June 9 from 8 – 9:30 pm ET.
