Massage Envy Spa, the largest employer of massage therapists and estheticians in the United States, announced the winners of its second annual “Excellence in Education” Award that highlights the best-in-class massage therapy schools in the nation. The top schools were selected based on the following criteria: educational program, curriculum, level of student and graduate support, involvement within the industry, graduate feedback, additional outstanding achievements, and recognition from accrediting agencies and industry associations. The awards, recently presented at Massage Envy Spa’s annual franchise conference in front of thousands of attendees in Phoenix, included American Career College (ACC) Ontario.

“We’re proud to honor these institutions for their commitment to upholding the highest standards of training and education for the industry’s future practitioners,” said CG Funk, vice president of industry relations and product development for Massage Envy Spa. “As massage therapy continues to evolve, these leading schools are ensuring that students are equipped with the necessary training and knowledge to be prepared for a rewarding career opportunity.”

“ACC has long enjoyed a positive relationship with Massage Envy Spa and a large number of our massage therapy graduates are enjoying successful careers at locations throughout California,” said Scott Wardall, Executive Director of ACC Ontario. “We are honored by this recognition for our massage therapy program.”
